Sips & Support – Refill the Pantry Challenge” is a purpose-driven initiative that unites local craft beverage enthusiasts with a tangible social cause: food security. This collaborative project between the Newmarket Craft Beverage Festival and the Newmarket Food Pantry aims to idirectly support residents experiencing food insecurity.
Every festival attendee will receive two tokens with their entry or tasting package. While these can be used to sample local craft beverages, they can also be donated at any beverage station to symbolically “purchase” essential pantry items for local families in need.
1 tokens = 1 pantry item (e.g., canned good, pasta, rice) (Value of $2.50)
As part of the “Sips & Support” initiative, locally crafted ceramic mugs made by Newmarket-area potters will be available for purchase at the event for just $50.00 each. These beautiful, handmade mugs not only celebrate the talent of our local artisan community but also serve as a lasting symbol of support for food security. All proceeds from mug sales will go directly to the Newmarket Food Pantry, helping to extend the impact of the event beyond the festival grounds. Guests are encouraged to take home a meaningful souvenir that supports both local makers and families in need--a cup that truly gives back.
